For Mori

Dec 24, 2010 21:45

Kyle felt as though he could jump for joy. Literally.

25 pages of work: Finished, in his professor's hands, and no longer his responsibility...

The possibilities seemed endless!

Packing a trunk, he finally appeared in his home bedroom. Kyle wanted to kiss his pillow. Okay, maybe he did kiss his pillow. (Comfortable old thing!)

Now, onto more important business. )

christmas!

Mori watched Kyle silently from the doorway; she had walked in somewhere in the middle of it. He looked so cute there under the glow of red and gold Christmas lights. Every night Mori recited a charm to change the color scheme her decorations. The first night was pure white, the next was pink, and then frosted blue. But tonight was brilliant red and gold for the season - more traditional, as her mother would have said.

"You should have sprung for the santa costume," she teased.

Kyle nearly had a heart attack. "How long have you been standing there?" he drawled, walking over to give her a playfully light shove.

"Long enough," she purred, looking up at him. Mori couldn't help but laugh at his playfulness.

"Did I scare you?"

"No!" he pouted, giving her a kiss on the cheek, "But all the same don't do that again!"

Kyle glanced back at the glowing present. "Also, it's charmed not to open for another few hours, so don't even think about it until tomorrow!" Pleased with himself, he gave her a cute grin.
