Morag was getting used to her quiet summer. Her parents hadn't been back to England since the first weekend of summer holiday. She had only heard from her mother in one owl, letting Mori know that they were doing well. It felt much more secretive than she was used to. But then again, with the Dark Lord's rising, there was much to be done across boarders.

To pass the time and get her mind off of the party she was planning, Mori decided it was time to sit alone with a good book and a pot of tea. But as she neared her favorite corner and her favorite chair, she noticed it was already occupied.

Frowning, she came up behind it and sighed loudly.

"Excuse me," she said, coming around the other side. But as she turned to see who she was just about to mouth off, Mori bit her tongue.

Kyle looked up, and she was sure to see the sad look on his face, before he replaced it with a quite happy one. "Well fancy meeting you here." He stood up, and pulled out a chair for her. "Care to join me?"

For a moment Mori actually found herself speechless. Of all the people to take her favorite spot, it had to be the one guy she had been thinking about all summer. And to make it all even better, he seemed completely unaware of her terrible attitude.

"I'd love to," she found herself saying, taking the seat.

Well, if anything could make him feel better, it was that one mysterious girl that he couldn't get his mind off of. He motioned for the waitress, while asking, "What would you like to drink?"
