Kyle acted in ways similar to Hermione. Since he was in basically every single class Hermione was in, he was feeling the same emotions of worry and despair.

After Muggle Studies was over, he headed back to his common room, to study some more before dinner.

It would be right for anyone to be annoyed, and usually Kyle prevented people from becoming annoyed at him. But tonight, the sixth year prefect had no worries about ANYTHING non-exam related.
