For the pattern, www.doctorwhoscarf.com is your best bet because the rows have been counted from the original screen-used scarf in New York and verified by me with too much time on my hands and screenshots. It also has suggestions for the most accurate yarns, but many of them are either really rare or discontinued. By comparison, www.wittylittleknitter.com provides colour matching suggestions based on colour cards you can get at Home Depot, and yarn suggestions that are easier to get a hold of, but her patterns aren't actually accurate.
