Submission Details
Right, with a week to go before stories are due, I thought it would be best to remind people of how things will work once next Monday rolls around.
- Stories are to remain anonymous until after they have all been posted on this community. That means that you cannot repost your story to any other community or your own journal until that time, you cannot tell anyone which story you wrote and you cannot respond to feedback.
- How will my story get posted then? As mentioned in your original assignment, you must reply to that email with your story attached (choose a format which is suitable to you and we should be able to open it. If not, well cross that bridge when we come to it). Your story should be in the correct .html format for us to post it in. In this email you must also include the following information for your fic's header:
Title:
Author: (LJ name)
Characters/Pairings:
Rating:
Summary:
Word Count: (Approximately)
Original Story: (Link and author name)
Notes:
All stories will be posted by the who_remix_mod account. Once the stories go live, the correct author's name will be edited in to the story's header. Once this process has been completed, a post will be made to this community to let you know. At that point please respond to any feedback you have received and you are free to cross-post to wherever you like.
- Again, please let us know if you are unable to complete your assignment. We have a couple of pinch-hitters lined up already, so we won't bite you. Promise. If we don't receive your story or hear from you by Wednesday 5th August, your assignment will be given to a pinch-hitter.
- Similarly, if you are going to be late in submitting your story, you need to let us know that as well.
- Finally, good luck over for the final week. Hope you enjoy putting the finishing touches (or starting ones, ahem!) to your stories. Please remember to get them beta'd before submitting and once again, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
