That's a really interesting remix, taking the original and twisting the things that happen in it, so it's Sarah that asks him to marry her and he goes missing in a different way, and they have other ways of not spending time together. I really like it - I've been thinking for a while that you don't see any stories where it's Sarah trying to get together with Harry, it's usually the other way round.

And I love the Stargate cameo in there too.

I had a feeling you wrote this and Sel betaed, since it was the only shippy thing you were likely to have written, but thought I couldn't possibly be right because then we'd be remixing each other, which would be a bit of a screw-up. And also, all the audio stuff, the Stargate mention, Harry's falling out with his father made me wonder :)

There was nearly a LoTR reference and bunnies, but I decided that would definitely give it away. I also considered an NCIS cameo, but as neither of us watch that show.... I had to bite my lip when discussing what I was thinking with the audio stuff too, since that was inspired by my recent relisten.

I realised afterwards that implying that it was shippy was apt to give it away, since there were no Sarah/Doctor stories remixed.

Incidentally, Sel did beta. I tried hitting up yuletide chat but there was no one who knew the classic series well enough. I did hook someone on the audios though. ;)

It is very strange that we ended up remixing each other. But fun in a way.

This is a cute take on the original fic - like paranoidangel42 said, it's not often you see Sarah doing any chasing, and it's awfully sweet here, and still in-character. :)

That was my inspiration for the story - that Sarah would be more aggressive about chasing Harry than we usually see. Glad you liked.

Sarah proposing to Harry? I love that. I also especially like the mention of the Dauntless and Josh (in my mind, he did survive).

Somehow the stories I've read have always involved him chasing her. It was time for a different take.

I'm working on a Dreamland fix-it fic, but it's going slowly.
