I love how much you've written into this story, capturing the character and history of the Doctor in each regeneration, so succinctly and efficiently. I suspect that I'll have to read this fic several more times to get every detail that's been packed in here -- and that I'll enjoy it every time I read it!

Oh, and this line Just her name, in the imperative, an unspoken scream against the silence that tells him that he is alone. really caught my attention and made my heartache so very much.

This was beautifully done and I really enjoyed it; it's always such a pleasure to read such skillful writing.
