I keep logging out to go to bed but then getting distracted by random things. orz
UHO they've just got up to the interview talking about episode 19 on that serial interview place. RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS so here are some random notes.
l-lol they're talking about the trial scene. What with Rossiu's verdict, and they were even asking at the time "but he's not really serious about it, is he?" "No, he's seriously planning on it." "EHHHH?" And they were going to add a scene exploring his thoughts, but that wouldn't work out, as they already had to prune down the trial a lot. (maybe they'll talk about it more in the episode 23 interview.) blah blah Rossiu thinks too hard about stuff and goes a little overboard, this is all obvious.
Something like "We knew the viewers would see it as a revolt/seizure of power, but it couldn't be helped." They were presenting things from Simon's point of view and expressing his feelings of being backed into a corner etc. so it couldn't be helped that all of the viewers would end up MASSIVELY FRUSTRATED with Rossiu, s-sigh.
Dayakka and his family are sort of the representatives of the normal people |D Not part of the ANGRY MOB nor part of the HIGHEST RANKS OF THE GOVERNMENT. (they talk later about how scary the mob was to draw, too.)
HUMAN BOMB, LOL. They weren't originally planning on having Kinon be in such a position. It was even surprising how she started leaning towards Rossiu at all. SOB they even talk about "Wh-What's their age difference?" sob sob. (THOUGH THEY STILL DIDN'T ACTUALLY TELL US WHAT THE AGE DIFFERENCE IS, THANKS GAINAX) And they were all "wouldn't you assume Darry would be closer to him?"
o-omg APPARENTLY they were originally planning more on a love triangle thing with Rossiu having a little crush on Nia and Darry crushing on Rossiu. h-hahahaha. But, no, even without any foreshadowing, surpraise kinon/rossiu
