Oh, this was lovely! I knew as soon as Steve faded when he heard Mary's voice that Danny was going to pull him back to his body, and couldn't wait to watch and wait for that to happen.

Oh I'm such a sucker for this kind of story, with a little bit of fairy-tale about it-I love the little shifts from the universe we know; I love that Danny and Grace are the ones who can see Steve; that getting closer to Danny scares him and is also the thing that brings him back to himself; I love how significant a simple touch becomes! And Steve, at the end of it, getting to have Mary back in his life, and a home, and a new wee family, and SPOONING-yay for this lovely story, and yay for happy endings. :D
