Canon Character and Series: Oingo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders)
In-Game Name: Oingo
Age: 16
Gender: male
Position & Ship (first and second choice for position please): Cabin Boy on the Winding Way
Appearance: Oingo is a normal size for a boy his age, though he's a bit on the gangly side due to not having a regular/healthy diet. Given he was from a desert town in the Badlands, he's taken to wearing mostly khaki cargo gear with lots of pockets, though he's likely to wear whatever his target calls for. He is noted for his rather ugly, beat up, old fashioned baseball cap, though. It's a personal treasure to him, being that it was the only thing his parents left for him and his brother.
Personality: Oingo, unlike his brother, is exceptionally brash and confrontational. He's also exceptionally foul mouthed. Oingo is cocky in the sense that he feels every single person, no matter how intelligent, is a rube that can easily by tricked given the correct technique. He believes to the point that he gets intensely cross whenever someone sees through one of his attempts.
He can, however, adapt his personality near perfectly to whomever he happens to be imitating at the time. Whether he knows this or not, it makes him a fantastic character actor who can play almost any role when needed. Perhaps this will come in handy...
Oingo is intensely protective of his little brother, and shows him a kindness that he spares to no others. But even then, he doesn't often take his brother that seriously, and will often rush into things without first consulting him even though the only reason they even MADE it this far was due to Boingo and his Stand.
Abilities/Weapons: Oingo's stand is called Khnum, named after the Egyptian god. Like its namesake suggests, Oingo's stand power lies in taking one thing and making it into something else, much the same way the god took the silt clay of the Nile and crafted it into the children in their mothers' wombs. However, the Stand just allows Oingo to craft his face and hair into that of another person at will. All he needs is a vague mental picture of the person's face (or have seen them). He can also imitate voices this way. He uses this skill to make certain that he is virtually untraceable as a thief. The authorities will always be seeking either an innocent person or someone who doesn't exist at all...
Oingo's secondary skill is his knowledge of explosives. He can draft bombs from most anything, so long as he can fit all the needs of a combustible construct. His favorite are bombs made from oranges, which he often uses as weapons.
Weaknesses: Oingo has no fighting skill whatsoever. His only means of self defense are his orange bombs and possibly convincing an assailant he is someone else entirely. He mostly just runs away from fights. He is also easily tempted by money, and will do virtually anything outside of betraying his brother for the right price.
History: Oingo and his brother were orphaned at a very young age. When he was seven and his brother just barely a year old, their parents were killed by monsters on the badlands. Like his brother, Oingo doesn't remember his original name, given he barely had one for the seven or so years he had been with their parents. Their names came from a poster advertising a traveling entertainment group.
Oingo quickly realized that the only way they would be able to survive as street kids was to take up pickpocketing. Oingo became aware in this moment of great mental and emotional stress that he and his brother had something that set them apart form others...that being a Stand. Though, to this day, they have no idea that was what they were. All he knew was its name, and he used it to become an expert thief and supported himself and his brother. He couldn't save Boingo from the few times they were caught, though...something he still feels tremendous guilt for.
Boingo also had a special power. A comic book he had found shortly before the death of their parents called Thoth (the title on the comic was "The Oingo Boingo Brothers Adventures"...the significance at the time hadn't occurred to them). This comic book could vaguely predict the future. And while it had helped them in several pickpocketing jobs before, it soon led them to a greater destiny...The Winding Way. The brothers just thought it would be a great oppurtunity to pilfer some longer term food and shelter, but little did they know it would actually lead them on the adventure of a life time...
