I have been using my mom's DVD drive, and probably still will from time to time as I store a lot of data on a shared drive on her system and it would be convenient to burn them over there. But, it will be nice to have the portability of the burner on my laptop as well as being able to do any burning on the laptop if desired (Plus the other one is slower and doesn't do any Dual Layer formats ( ... )
