He was surprised when he heard “I have a proposition for you, Mr. Reese. ” John squinted up at a short man in glasses and a dark suit. He figured he must be drunker than he thought if he hadn’t noticed the man’s approach.
”Who are you?”
“You can call me Mr. Finch. I think you and I can help one another. I can offer you the revenge you crave. Revenge, and a new purpose. You need a purpose - more specifically, you need a job. I can use a man of your skills. Just sign here” and he unrolled a long scroll of paper covered with small cursive script. “Your signature and a drop of your blood are all I need to seal the deal”
