Congratulations! I'm sorry I couldn't be there to tell you in person.
I felt a lot of what you felt when I graduated. I thought it was odd that such a big accomplishment just seemed to occur so matter-of-factly.
As far of the "friends disappearing" aspect, it all depends on the eye of the beholder. Are your friends really disappearing or just further away? Keeping in touch is a two-way street. In our age of technology if you want to keep up with someone, then it's not too hard.
Btw, I read your latest post before this one and I'll admit...I danced to Abba the night before my graduation. I'm not ashamed. ;P
awww, shit, you are sooo right about the "friends disappearing" thing. i gotta think like that. it's just sucky. all you bda kids are my family. and now i feel like a little kid being thrown into daycare and away from my family. i'm going through withdrawal right now but i'm sure daycare will be fun. just hope they don't try to force potty-training on me too soon.
omg, that was a cheesy metaphor. anyways, much thanks for the congratulations and kind words. hope all is well w/you. you are good people.
