Anthony's surprise party was a good time -- the atmosphere was really something, with the mixing of the fact that it was a celebration (which warrants being cheery all on its own) and curiosity of the students not in 6th year over the trip. A lot of rumours had been circulating about while we were gone.. stories ranging from Flobberworm-sled racing ( Read more... )

If you can find anyone willing, let me know. I think the majority of the student body and staff enjoy their limbs as and where they are, unfortunately.

I know exactly what you mean, I had been trying to nail mine to the desk the other day to keep it from jumping about when the Gray Lady came waffling in and gave me a chilly stare. I guess she's part of Ginny Weasley's group, then; sounds like something she's do. That old bint gives me the heeby-jeebies, you know. I find it's useful to stick it under the leg of your bed when you're not using it, it keeps it weighted down enough so that it can't escape, and while you're sleeping its struggling makes for a soothing, rocking sensation. Sends me right to sleep!

I was looking for you at the party, but you were nowhere to be found! Were you hiding from me out by the punchbowl all night? If my memory serves that may be the one place I didn't check. It was an okay party, otherwise.

Thanks for letting me stay in your tent over the weekend, by the way. I don't know what I would have done if I'd had to sleep in the same tent as Cornfoot, you know. Possibly chew my own leg off for lack of anything better to do.

Well, sorry. I always felt it was a bit inhumane of it to go gnawing on my hand at the slightest provocation, personally.

Turned in early? That's odd, it was such a fun party, too. Are you feeling all right? Maybe you're coming down with something. I can go and get you some soup from the kitchens, if you'd like.
