Beginning in Connecticut

So, Jac and I have made it safely to Connecticut, and are enjoying our third full day here. Some rambling, disconnected impressions of things thus far:

I love your big annual updates. Update more often, now that you're away from the motherland!

Also, your patronus should totally be a skunk with its head stuck in a Virgin Mary votive from now on.

I am heartened to see that you are posting. I had fears you would fall off my grid for good! Keep writing. Tip: if you do it in short bursts, like wind sprints, it can be enjoyable in a different way than your usual long-distance running "big annual updates." :) :) All I'm saying is, you have fans! Post as often as you want!

It sounds like you found a very nice little paradise. I've always thought Ct would be a lovely place to settle.

As for skunk stank, tomato juice is the best solution. My mom got sprayed by one when she was pregnant with my brother.

If you're able post us some pictures, I'd love to see it.
