Why I love this/Barbossa's character

I really enjoyed this. I usually like the more sexual writing, but this reminds me of exactly why I love Barbossa. In the first movie, he was both very cock-sure, but in truth was a cursed, turtured soul. The part in CotBP that I liked was when he made himself vulnerable to Elizabeth. A man that can show that he can be vulnerable (and of course, he was more than JUST vulnerable; he was more like the man with the worst luck, in the worst place at the worst time) is very commendable to me. Actually, I like a man who can be vulnerable and confident; not too much of one versus the other. Barbossa has both of those qualities.

I don't know about the rest of the ladies, but a bad-ass that is able to show some human quality is very important to me, and that's why I love his character.
