Interesting! I would never have thought of putting them in that time period but it seems to work well. I especially like that you made the Pearl a horse; yay!

I always figured that after the 18th century and piracy had passed, they would have gone right into the Old West of the 19th century and become bank/train robbers. I'm glad you enjoyed the drabble.

As for the black Pearl, since Jack seems to love that ship so much I imagined he would have found or stolen the fastest black mare he could find and name her Pearl.

True! Just a slight change to land and their back in business. Not to mention that the outlaws of the Old West had similar reputations to pirates.
