ah me... it's such a pleasure to read the work of a writer who has such a good ear and a good feel for Barbossa as he seems to be in the movies (yeah, his character is tough and hard and vicious, but anyone who'd take time to join in matrimony two of his sometime-rivals in the middle of a pitched battle--in an eldritch STORM, no less-- has got to have a huge sentimental streak).
