Half-decent weekend so-far. Had dinner at a favorite spot with a huge bunch of friends I haven't seen in a while. Got a bit ugly however, when this couple (friends of my friends) showed up with their kid and mom started breastfeeding right there at the dinner table. I dunno. Since our friends don't spawn much (thank the goddess)it's never really come up. It doesn't really bother me one way or another. On the other hand, it is definitely a bodily function so it should probably be categorized under the rules of bodily functions. You know, done privately. On the other, other, I'd hate to have to go away somewhere if I was nursing a baby and enjoying the conversation. Not that I'll ever be in that situation considering I'm even trying to give away my cats.

I am not "the mothering type," however, breastfeeding in public doesn't really bother me one way or another. If it were ME, NO WAY would I do that, b/c there are so many skeevy disgusting men who would get off on it (I KNOW they do).
