I am curious, so entertain me.

Define JUSTICE.

[EDIT (clarification)]: Define what it means to you, not what the dictionary tells you it means.

*light (ou), obvious alterior motives

Aren't you full of yourself? Why should anyone have to entertain you?

It's a simple question requiring a simple answer.

The response below seems to answer it quite thoroughly.

That is a text-book definition.

That's a textbook definition.

You did not specify whether or not you wanted our own definitions or a textbook one.

Be more specific next time if you want a more specific answer.

I have revised to clarify.

Care to give a personal definition?

More accusations. I am not Kira.

Who might you be?

Sorry, you don't fool me, boy. I can read minds.

I'm the Shinrabanshou.

Is that so? That seems rather invasive.

[ooc: light's thinking a very angry, kira-worthy inner monologue right now :o]

How about you entertain me first? Define what constitutes a crime.

Reply

whos_ur_kami July 24 2008, 23:14:41 UTC
Simple. A crime is an act which is in direct violation of the law.

Your turn.

Reply

invisible_trick July 24 2008, 23:32:24 UTC
That would be the technical definition. The textbook example, as it were. There are laws which are irrational. At the core, what do you consider a crime to be? Why are the laws in place, and what purpose do these laws serve?

whos_ur_kami July 24 2008, 23:53:11 UTC
A crime causes harm to others or property, generically. There are many corollaries to that, however that is the simple answer.

Now, you must answer my question as well.
