Well, this is a toughie, but I'm going to have to give it to the Spanish Disease. It's been around a lot longer, and it will still be here when Facebook is long-defunked.

I can't believe that syphillis has gotten this far, when there's a CURE for it. There's certainly no cure for facebook! I've tried!

Perhaps the Spanish disease IS the cure for facebook? You have to leave the computer to get it treated. Meanwhile, any "social networking" will just spread syphilis' influence - which means all of facebook will fall! From "hooking up" to "it's complicated."

So, to make a long story short, I moved to Australia to do my PhD and I am on paper doing a PhD in Health Science. What area my PhD is actually in changes like a chameleon, but let's just call it Cultural Studies ( ... )
