Because the character's intelligent, sarcastic, witty, and British! And because ASH is hot, of course!

Similar reasons to liking Giles - smart improv, not all physical humor/bathroom humor, and great standup comedy

The other three aren't right, but were good guesses.

Hmmm...for Firefly...if it's not Wash....Jayne is my second guess.

For Angel....hmmm.....was Giles every on Angel (kidding). Hmmm. GROO! ...maybe?

There's the British factor (though Alexis is American), but I also really admire the ability of the writers and Alexis Denisof to take a dorky character and turn him into a tragic hero. 3rd, 4th, and 5th season Wesley sold me on the character. Plus, Alexis Denisof is one of the few people who looks better with scruffy facial hair.

Jayne

Adam Baldwin is a great actor, and Jayne's just a kick-ass character. He is so shallow, but so funny and you gotta love his hat!

Jeremy

Awwww! I love Jeremy! The pilot of Sports Night especially. He's just too nerdy, and yet sexy somehow...

Good guesses too, Di - But you missed The West Wing (although I like CJ, Josh, and Leo). I suppose I'll have to reveal all the answers in a little bit, since no one else will comment but you and Laura.
