So you remember that stupid dream I had of not having to take math or spanish next year? Y'know, 'cus I finished BC calc this year, so I'm supposed to be done? And my counselor thought it was fine if I didn't take spanish, because I was taking 3 APs and other english electives. Well, along the way, someone wasn't completely straight with me

Well...as a very minor bright side, I'm in AP Stat too, so we might actually have a class together. (I know, the world might end first)

So that'd be not so bad...right?

And it does suck about the other APs. Old people suck.

That's so annoying! I can't believe how AP-focused things are nowadays. Senior year should be when you take fun classes, and junior year is the one they care about - but NO, we have to do evenr MORE work as we apply to colleges. That sucks cause AP stat sounds kinda boring, but hey, at least you don't have to suffer through another year of the dirty old man!

I have a similar story about registering for classes junior year:

I tried to get into French junior year, French one, since I take Spanish, instead of physics, and they wouldn't let me since "not enough people were interested." Personally, I don't have a problem taking a class with only like 6 other people in it, especially if I'm interested in the subject. But no. I also tried to get into creative writing and Italian, but the same thing happened there.

I ended up in anatomy, which I actually really enjoyed. But it was a super pain in the ass, and of course they told me about it later than I would have liked.

Yeah. Yours is worse. But if that makes you feel any better... ;-)

AP's suck. I think it's ridiculous how much emphasis is on AP's. I mean, everyone says that, but seriously, it's ridiculous. I think we all know it. I wish there was some way for us as teenagers to band together and like... say "screw you!" to the man or whatever.

I just didn't take any. But also it depends on the schools you want to go to.
