Let's see. Yorick quite liked Courtney! She was fun to talk to and he enjoyed verbally sparring with her. It's always nice to chat with someone who'll catch on to his specific sense of humour and he got a kick out of it. Especially that conversation about coming from a world without certain types of confectionary.

Favourite moment in Tales of Vesperia?

I have a lot of favourite moments in Vesperia, but one that I adore is when Yuri tries to be a lone wolf and his team party chases after him. Karol calls him a "stupid brainless piece of crap" and they all beat him up. Figuratively. It's amazing.

Is Simon gonna use his hand-drills on the barrier.

He may well do that at some point, if he feels fired up enough for it. But attacking the barrier is more a matter of "I can break this. I know I can :T" than a desperate need to escape. Because Nia is here! And he's not really fussed about breaking out for himself, since he's not going anywhere without her. He's more likely to combine Lagann with something stupid and try a full-blown assault.

When Simon and Nia bang, does it cause any damage to neighboring star systems?

The characters. It's really really the characters that make FFVII so amazing to me. I also like the world, and the concept of the Lifestream and blah blah blah. But your party is just seven very dysfunctional people. Also, materia grinding is surprisingly satisfying, especially when you start being able to make awesome cheap-ass combos.

Do you have a favorite app?

I actually REALLY LOVE my Rick O'Connell app, because I had the punchline in mind since 2005, so it was what... two+ years in the making and it just worked so well. In terms of punchlines that is my favourite. In terms of solid apping, I think Asuka's was the best, because it was so easy and natural to write.

Does Aeris have any plans for after camp?

OKAY SO. Gurren Lagann, to me, has two distinct halves to it connected by the main theme of fighting spirit. The first half is more rough and tumble punch-up style, whereas the second half gets a bit more... political and sort of Gundam-like in places. Because everyone's very gung-ho in the first half, rah rah we're fighting the power!! But then later they have to deal with the consequences of their actions and some of it isn't pretty. Every character is trying to do what they believe is right. They just happen to collide sometimes
