So is this Dancing With The Stars with hockey players and figure skaters figure-skating, basically? All I've seen about this is ads in the subway and I'm not really sure what the deal is.

you've got it, pretty much. i've been explaining it as the love child of cutting edge (toepick!) and dancing with the stars. it was pretty good, they are still working out some snags.
