It must be the season…. On Sunday I got a call from Mom.. She wanted to talk to me before my older sister who panics at the drop of a hat. She said she has to go into the hospital. They need to see if another stint would be needed as she did have open heart surgery I think 8-10 yrs ago. And a few stints since. They thought she may have a blocking ( Read more... )

Old age is so much down to your state of mind. My Grandparents are in their 80s and swim several times a week. Was the Royal Marines Summer Ball the other day and they didn’t get home till 3am.

Philip’s step-father was a brilliant scientist, but when he retired and got sick he wasn’t interested in physio or anything, and just gradually faded away.

Send our love to Neil - I’m sure you’ll look after him very well!
