Ugh, sad. Yeah, I don't like cheaters either. It's one thing when the characters aren't really together and they both know it (like when the premise starts out with them as sex friends), especially when this meaningless "cheating" (for lack of a better term) makes one or both realize their actual feelings, but when somebody's really committed, when it's so uneven between the two, when somebody is really being hurt by the act-it's too sad to read something like that. Plus you get so disgusted with the guy who did it.
Though the thing that makes me stop reading is the old "verbal and sexual abuse = love" thing, and I mean the "YOU SHOULD HATE HIS GUTS YOU STUPID UKE" kind.
I have to admit I don't mind the seme being a little abusive and possessive, as long as he demonstrates his love for the uke most of the time :3 But I agree that when it's more extreme I start getting bothered--one reason why I wouldn't ever ever read Okane ga Nai.
Erk. A little possessiveness is okay, to an extent, because jealousy is cute, but abusive semes make me want to stab them in the face. I tried watching the OVA of Okane ga Nai when I was fairly new to yaoi, because I didn't get into yaoi manga until I'd exhausted the supply of yaoi anime, and I literally felt sick watching it. Yeah. There's a point where it just gets disgusting, and Okane ga Nai left that point in the dust.
I also hate cheating but I find that I hate to an equal degree the person (who was cheated upon) forgiving the other person so easily, accepting a lame ass excuse or even thinking he was the one to blame.
