I'm REALLY looking forward to that road trip of yours!! ...Say, what do you think are the chances that you could do that around the 4th of July? Kiefer has every intention of trying to blow up the neighborhood with a metric ton of fireworks again, and it would be so awesome if you could join in the insanity! =D

LOL! For some reason, "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" by The Offspring comes into my head while reading that, but, hey, I'll take the compliments where I can get 'em. ;)

As for the 4th, actually, since it's on a Friday this year, I think it'd work pretty well! Think I could prolly hit the road after work on the 3rd -- yeah, I know, holiday traffic = insanity, but I can be patient as long as my tunes are working -- and stay through 'til Sunday afternoon/night, if that works for ya'll? Lemme know, please! :)

I just realized I hadn't actually written back to you! In case you didn't pick up my psychic brain waves, YES, that would work just perfectly! =D

Chances are we might have to put you to work doing a smidge of cleaning or prepwork in advance of other guests arriving (we're shaping up to have a big get-together once again, so there'll be lots of prepwork to do on the evening of the 3rd and day of the 4th), but I promise we'll do SOMETHING besides cleaning. XD

All right, heading up the evening of July 3rd works for me! I'll need an address or directions by then -- obviously, not here -- but otherwise I shouldn't have any problems getting there. *knock on wood* And no problem with helping with the cleaning and prepwork! I can earn my keep! :)
