Shouldn't be a problem! I almost always pester her, anyway, so you being there is just all the more motivation. Granted, I don't usually have a lot of time to stand and chat while I'm working, but I will most certainly swing by at least a few times. :)

1) You should come visit again!
2) Sounds like you might just have the time for more pets - and a dog would have the added bonus of forcing you to go outside on walks and such, so that might just be a good idea! I think volunteering at animal shelters is also a great way to go - not only a good way to meet all the potential pets you could adopt, but something nice to get you out of the house, and meaningful, too - nothing makes ya feel better than helping adorable fuzzy things, eh? =)
3) Have an awesome time at FC, and please take lots of pictures!!!

I called Southwest, and they do let you bring a laptop bag and a full-size camera bag, as long as you can fit one in the overhead, and one at your feet. So, might not get a lot of time for pictures, but I am bringing the Canon. We'll see if I get some good pics here! :)

We won't be at FC- but that's no reason we can't have a quiet hang out night. We're both really low key and I have a cat who'd love to make your lap's acquaintance. :)

Yeah, still bummed that ya'll can't make it down for FC. But, yes, we definitely do need to get together sometime, and I would love to meet your cats there. :)

Yeah, it does sound like we're in the same boat, in a lot of ways. I wish you didn't have to go through all that you do, though. You deserve to smile way more. *hug ( ... )

It was so wonderful seeing you at Con! I'm glad you kept coming by the table, and I'm glad we got to have dinner together. It was too short, but ah well. Next year, new hotel! Whew...FC has really grown.

Believe me, it was my pleasure to get a few minutes now and then to wander by there. It's always great to chat with you, and I just wish I'd had more time to do so! And I'm so glad that we were able to have dinner together, too! So nice of you, especially when you were so tired after a long day. One of these days, somehow, we will have to hang out when we aren't both working. :)

As for FC, as much as I've been saying for a few years now that we NEED a bigger place, it is a little daunting to know we're finally getting one. The old hotel made a lot of concessions, and allowed us to do our own thing in a lot of ways. With the new place being -- from my understanding -- very much a union shop, it remains to be seen how much leeway we'll be given in what we'll be able to do as far as setup, especially in the dealer area. Next year is definitely going to be interesting.
