Did you know this post is featured by LJ? I logged out of LJ, clicked "life" on the navigation bar, and found a link to this entry. And other users entries with personal stuff on it (like pictures of their kids). I wonder if the users featured know they're being featured like this? They're all public entries, but it does feel somewhat exploitive and MySpace-esque.

Unfortunately, that is where pretty much all of this is going, not just LJ. I'm 'putting up a fight' not because I think we can win, but because Lost Causes are usually the only ones worth fighting for.

I joined LJ back in Sept of 2001, about two weeks after 9/11, because I needed a public forum to vent and rant and so on if I was to hold on to what little sanity I had left. In that effort, I failed. lol
As I said above, 'I'm 'putting up a fight' not because I think we can win, but because Lost Causes are usually the only ones worth fighting for.' Capitalism Marches On and until that fails, we're stuck with eating its shit.
