No, not the latest Godzilla-esque movie out of Japan, but my weekly (running) mileage leading into St. George versus leading into IMAZ

I need some training on how to be as organized as you. I also may be in need for some of your "old man" socks. I hear that I may need them to survive ACL and a 22 mile run this weekend!

The organization comes from the electronics: my Garmin stores hundreds of my previous workouts, I just slurp them up to the PC when I'm recharging the Garmin's battery and in one of the views the PC software shows me weekly mileage against a calendar, I just read off the numbers leading into IMAZ and read off the numbers of the last few weeks leading into St. George next weekend.
Ah, my much maligned "old man socks"? Pointers on what/where in the Comments section of this previous LJ entry: http://whyiron.livejournal.com/80048.html
The other survival tool at ACL is: water! Stay hydrated!!

ah yes, I once owned a Garmin, but did a triathlon with it and damaged it forever:(! I never did use it to it's potential. I'm interested in investing in another gadget soon so I'll have research them once again. I had a fancy Polar once and it kept me the most organized...great software. Anyway, now i'm just thinking out loud!

BTW, I managed to survive my 22 mile run, ACL and partied till the wee hours of the morning without the "old man" socks, but I think I would like them today!!!

Good luck at St. George!!
