115 degrees over the open road today. That's like 44 degrees Celcius I think. Humidity? Somewhere between 5 and 25%. It depends which readings you trust. The 'dry heat' phrase doesn't provide much consolation. Certainly it doesn't provide shade, so what use is it

So rule #1 about any car accident: get insurance info. Then call their insurance and report the claim. Then they're scroooooood. Case in point: a deaf dude backed into jenn's car at the airport (where WERE the cops? usually they're on you like white on rice) and we exchanged insurance and I called mine. Then I called his. Then they called him. Then they called me and said he confirmed my story, go find a shop and enterprise rent-a-car.
I've heard like 3 stories about the shine-on by the "I promise to pay" guy in the last 2 weeks. Not that people are bad, but give them the chance to show their true nature and ... you'll know how to treat the guy from now on. You *own* him basically.
I'm clearing my June 08 calendar. Sadly I will not be venturing to Scottsdale for work. The conference just didn't have enough to offer. Plus it's hot there. Blehhhh. Another time?

I'm bummed you're not coming to Scottsdale, but I don't blame you. It's hot here. On the flip side, the rainy season is starting, so you might be missing out on some sweet lightning storms.
