you worry wayyyyyyy tooooo much about wayyy too much
its good to think about how other people percieve you, but only to a certain extent. and for gods sake if your gonna, be realistic about it, yes, enjoy guns and shooting, some people just might think that makes me dangerous and a murder, i highly doubt anyone will actually think that (and if they do, thats their problem). somebody once told me you shouldnt change who you are for other people. and if your really overly worried about what other people think, is that not exactly whats happening?
this might not make any sense, but the most accurate version of who you are, is who you are when you dont think about it.
Everyone goes through this. At least...everyone who chooses to be adventurous and brave and go away for college.
The most important thing I've learned in college is that you HAVE to be yourself. YOU come first, everyone else comes second. You're going to make friends, and you're going to lose friends. You can't please everyone. The only person you can please completely is yourself. So do it. And then pick the friends that are happy with you being YOU. It took me a year and a half, and I'm still dealing with it. But it's just how it is.
You are an incredible person with a kind heart and a deep soul and if people can't see that, it's their loss. You be YOU and then people will be drawn to it. The RIGHT people will.
