I read the tweets in my twitter client, and I skip the loudtwitter posts in LJ.. so.. "Useless"?

Not everyone on every friends list has Twitter, though. The posts don't take up that much room -- it's pretty easy to just scroll past them. I no longer really notice friends' LT posts when I've already read their messages on Twitter.

Useful, on the rare occasion that someone has something interesting & relevant to say on Twitter, 'cause I basically never read it.

Useful to me annoying from everyone else that uses it :D

I do not want to read twitter on LJ because everyone abuses it and it's really annoying especially when they do not have the option to let me opt out from seeing it.

But I export to LJ under a filter (for those who do not have twitter) and I do get comments and discussion on it so obviously some people find it at least slightly interesting and everyone else can opt out with no issue.

To me it is simply a quick way to post that does not let me waste 30 minutes writing a story about nothing.

I like the opt out filter. It's a great idea. More people should do that.

I suspect you're the exception to the rule because you actually make your tweets interesting and relevant, and you limit yourself to a handful of posts each day.
