So... before I start this, I have to qualify my statement with the following: I deal with death and loss WAY different than probably 90% of the planet. So... take it as you will.
Ahem...
We are always going to lose people. And the best way to deal with that is: when you see the photos and have the memories, think about all the good things. Yes, I know it hurts when someone leaves us, but we can't change that... so we just have to say "They were in my life for a reason and they impacted me in a/an "x" way..." With that, they're never truly gone.
AS FOR ME... I'll always be here. bugging you, sending you random messages, annoying you... etc. ;-)
OH... and I now have both of the postcards you sent me up on my wall. Thank you.
AND...to quote one of my favorite shows, Cowboy Bebop: "Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don't desire, but they're inevitable, we have to face them"
all good stuff...i concur...and i miss you! i'll try to come to btown more often. or maybe we could meet in martinsville and have dinner/lunch sometimes.
