The storms were mostly passed and David decided he was too impatient to wait any longer. He hadn't technically checked in to the hotel room (he'd checked it was vacant when the receptionist was in the back room), so he didn't need to bother checking out again. He grabbed up his bag and a few seconds later he was out of Toronto and

"I hope you didn't miss the bowl, too," Leah teased as she pounced on him and wrapped her arms around his neck. She laughed as she kissed his cheek and lifted her legs to get them around his waist. "I hope you washed your hands, too. You know, we've covered puke, and piss. I'm wondering if there's any other bodily fluids we need to address before we take the next step."

It still left her awed when he just arrived out of thin air. She was never going to stop being amazed by what he could do. There was no waiting for flights, and buses, and cars. She asked to come over and he was just there in the blink of an eye. And gone just as quick.

"Yes, and very nice handwash, by the way. I'm highly impressed." David laughed and gave her another kiss. "You know, I was just thinking how much more I need to work on my alluring and suave act. So far, I'm failing miserably with you. I'm blaming the coffee machine across the hall from my hotel room."

He walked over over to the sofa so they could flop down on it together. "And not all bodily fluids are necessarily unsexy, you know." He smirked and brushed his fingers through her hair. "So, here we are again."

"Coffee machine, huh?" Leah giggled and flicked her finger against the tip of his nose. "Nothing at all to do with the fact that you should never have to put on an act for me? Or that I caught you all unsuspecting like to begin with?"

"Oh, I know. I do love those sexy fluids." She smiled and gave a happy sigh as he touched her hair. "Here were are again. And I missed you too, you know, just in case that wasn't clear."

"And wetting my pants would've been something very difficult to attractively talk my way out of," David pointed out. "You have a point there. Technically, it could mean you're stuck with me. No one else has seen with my guard down like you have."

He settled back on the sofa and started to play with her fingers. He smiled and nodded. "It was clear, but I don't think I'll get tired of hearing it. I missed you too. And to think, we could watch TV, or sing a song, or bake a cake... what will we do?"
