So Freema didn't win the NTA award. Meh. Didn't she just win a different award for best actress anyway? I think it was 'Most Popular Actress' and the public voted for it, and a soap actress won, and soaps still seem to be popular, so I wasn't suprised.

Although, to be fair Lacey Turner who won is good for soap standards, but she's no Freema of course.

She looked totally gorgeous, the colour really suits her, she and DT are way too pretty together.

I'm such a fangirl of Freema these days! :D

It distracts me too! I get just as excited on a Saturday evening as I did for Doctor Who. It's like ridiculously campy crack.

This is what I love about the way that TV shows are made over here. 'Robin Hood' was not hailed with compliments or given much in the way of budget but it is BBC and it is Saturday night... it is a show that may have been cancelled in the US but that the Lord that it is not! I LOVE it, whywastewords, I LOVE it and sophieisgod has bought the first series on DVD so that we can belatedly fall in love with it properly :D You must have loved seeing Will in 'Family of Blood' and 'Human Nature' last DW series and it is a squee-age that completely escaped me :D

Freema looks gorgeous in those pics. Do we know yet whether getting Freema back in DW is at the loss of Catherine Tate?

Yay, I love you being back on LJ!

And I agree on Robin Hood. Such wanton ridiculousness would probably be rewarded with a cancelling in the US... but over here it's totally appreciated! And I'm glad you like it, I remember last year you saying you were disappointed because you wanted it to be like Robin of Sherwood. And I did love seeing Harry Lloyd in DW, it was a bit of a revelation after seeing him play evil and psychotic.

Freema's filming the first 2 parter now and will probably be back for the finale. I think her and Catherine Tate will get equal screen time, though I do hope that Freema gets to be companion in the 2009 specials. Nothing against Catherine but I love Freema and Martha more!

I'm not surprised, she hasn't been on TV since June. She did win an award at Screen Nation. I much prefer her hair down too.
