Rose Tyler is back for absolute certain. No more rumours, no more wank, no more mocking the asshat Rosfen. It's all true. I'm surprised there wasn't a big scoop, a proper believable one before this random fan got photos of Billie Piper on set. The OG is going to be unbearable. I just do not want to deal with the gloating and the whole "WE KNEW SHE WAS BETTER THAN ANY COMPANION" BS.

Still, this could possibly, hopefully be handled well.

Yeah I don't want to deal with the I-told-you-so stuff either. I'm just trying to stay in places where I see non-batshipper reactions. I myself am bordering on cheerful about this, so I don't want what little squee I have harshed by the OTPers.

Well, I have to say this is just the sour cherry on top of my craptastic day. I wish I could be happy about this, or not even care, but I know this is going to fuel the next six months of wankiness by the batshit.

I have to wonder why I still bother with this fandom, as I am constantly being burned by it.

You know, this isn't bothering me as much as I thought it would. The fact that it is the Doctor-lite episode does make this a lot easier to deal with.

Is it certain it's a Doctor Lite? Yeah, that's not so bad? I did hear this was the double-banked ep.

And reports are that Rose is talking to Donna and is supposed to 'disappear', so quite possibly she only appears on our Earth in hologram form, and the rest of the ep is set on her Earth.

I know I was so shocked. But I'm kind of squeeful for some reason. I don't know. I feel like I'm betraying the love of Martha for some reason by being excited to see Rose again.

What I'm most looking forward to is the resulting fan-wank.
