I dropped my phone into the toilet tonight and now it's teasing me.  When I fished it out at first it was working fine- and worked all night- until I left my friend's house.  Then I couldn't do anything except turn it on, after that- no functionality.  But now it's working fine again!!!  I have no idea what is going on, but I figure since I found a

i dropped by phone in the toilet too and it held out for another two months and then died a prolonged and static-filled death, after which i could not communicate with anyone for two weeks. moral of the story: euthenize the old phone and get that new one.

I dropped my insulin pump in the toilet once-- while it was still connected to me. I woke up my roommates because it was the middle of the night and I was in hysterics on the pot.

Also, I once ran over my cell phone with my bike.

I dropped my phone in a toilet one time last year. I freaked out at first thinking that it was a horrible way for my phone to die, but then it worked perfectly for another year! No problems at all. I always take my phone out of my back pocket before I go to pee now though. Sorry bout your phone, I hope it'll make a miracle recovery like mine did ;D
PS--Didn't the same thing happen to JC in the library at UCSB earlier this year? I think he actually flushed his though....haha
