Most people spend their nights sleeping. Not neccessarily for all of it, but usually a significant chunk.
I spent last night watching every single episode of "The Office" ever. The second Christmas special finished at about 8:15am.
It's a good thing that my job doesn't require any higher brain function. Or lower brain function. Or any sort of skills at all, in fact.
Well, unless you count the ability to face the mind-numbing tedium of my work as a skill.
Taking the time that I actually got up yesterday to be the time that I should have got up this morning, it's currently about 3:45am in my own personal time zone. I can see that today will be a long haul.
Moving back to "The Office", I'd never actually seen it before. I'd caught maybe half an episode on TV and a dozen or so clips. It's a shame that one of those clips showed the climax of the christmas special, nay, the whole fucking show. Never mind, the 8 hour journey to get there was worth it.
It is without a doubt utterly brilliant, but I did have to watch a lot of it through the gaps in my fingers as I had my hands over my face. That's not even a figure speech, I actually did that. During some of the more painful David Brent moments I couldn't bear to watch at all. It's like watching a train crash in slow motion.
I'd like to think that I am most like Tim of all the characters, but thats bollocks. I'm one of the extras in the background. As far as what I'm like at work is concerned I'd be the one that Keith thought was a bit dull.
