I went job searching today in Edmore because I haven't applied around there much. I refuse to put in applications at fast food. I don't care if it's a "job," I will not go back to those places. If the BP hadn't closed down due to IRS problems, I could of applied there. It would of been nice if they had finished their restaraunt too but nOoOoOoOoo ( ( Read more... )

do *strike* wordy word words */strike* (replace the stars with the alligator mouths you use for LJ cuts, etc.) :D

Your right, in small towns you need connections. You know how i got my job at the hospital. My boss used to babysit, my best friend Jenny who lived around the block. My interview was horrible it was the first time i ever had a professional interview so i know it had to be because she babysat Jenny and i was there 24-7,so she pretty much babysat me also.. That and my sister used to work there, Ashley's sister Holly was working there and Michelle Erics sister works there. With all of that the reason i got the job had nothign to do with me.. I've just kept the job by proving i'm reliable and a good worker.... In the end i get what your saying about it being hard to get a good job in a small town...
