Just got back from seeing the new Harry Potter. Miss Sirajah needs to see it as quickly as possible so I can have someone other than my little brother to talk to about it.

i was actually pretty disappointed. enjoyed it overall but hated dumbledore and i think a few things were not completely followed through with the way they should have been. one being the rita storyline.

Me too. I talked to Siri about it last night and I guess she loved it, but my brother and I were both pretty let down. Snape and Dumbledore are getting a little too goofy rather than serious; the filmmakers took too much time with some pieces and too little with others; we both imagined the final showdown as a whole lot more intense, exciting, and better-blocked; etc. And ditto with Rita; she went from uberbitch to a slight annoyance. But that's just skimming the top. Not that I hated it or anything; I guess it did what it needed to in the short amount of time they were given to cram it all into; I just wish they'd make the super-duper-extended version.
