Glad to see you are alive! :) Things seem to be opening up for you for the summer gig in Illinois. Maybe you can also tap into Chicago theatres while you are there--who knows what may pan out for Fall. The right designer from Chicago seeing one of your plays may decide to hire you on!
I hear you on roommates. I haven't had one since student-teaching semester, and I hope I never have to have another one unless it's Mr. Right somewhere down the road. Roommates can be a trip and a half, but I guess we know that from personal experience, eh? :)
I have a badge for you... let me know if you're traveling by Crossville anytime soon and I'll give it to you.
We'll see about the Illinois thing. I *love* Chicago, so I think I'm going to keep an eye out on the Chicago area theatres listing, because since I'm already up here, I might as well put out feelers. I'd like to be up there at some point anyway; might be a good "in" to have.
Haha, def. on the roomie sitch. Luckily, I'm free for a little while -- I'm the only person this family is housing (yep, we have host families in Princeton), but they do have 3 kids, a dog, a cat, and a turtle. But they let me have my own bathroom.
Don't know when I'm going to be around there. I still have a couple of things I've had for you for *forever*, though, so if we're lucky maybe we'll meet sometime.
