Time Paradox Photoshoot

My friend and I decided to be nerdy and take pictures of our Rose and Amy costumes after the Doctor Who party, since I have a mini-studio in my parents basement...

You guys looked like you had fun. How neat is it that you have your own studio? :)

Yeah, a silly time was had by all, though we were nearly defeated by the self timer. o.O And, yeah, my dad love photography and got a lot of the stuff, even though I use it a whole lot more. It makes getting headshots and doing random, silly shoots with my friends easy when we don't want to go out and about to get the pics.

I am jealous. You're both so cute. :D

And do tell where you got your watch! It's a damn good one.

We had a lot of fun for sure!

I got it off of ebay, actually.. there was a second one up there a few days later, but the friend that is Rose above is doing Amy's VotD outfit, so she got it. it was only like 10 bucks. If I see another one pop up, I'll let you know right away. I just searched "gold watch" and kept narrowing down the options (womans, metal, $0-25, etc) and it popped up. It's a Lorus, if that helps.

that was the listing.

I'm impressed, your own studio to play around with ;)

Something I'd like myself at some point is a green screen room but right now I simply don't have the space for it.

More importantly, your the best Amy I've seen so far, looking forward to seeing some more of her outfits you're working on :)

Hah yeah. It's nice to have, and it breaks down and fits in a closet.

That's cool. I've never worked with green screen before, mainly because I'd rather go on location to take photos. haha.

Aw, thank you!

Ah so it's not setup all the time? I still think you're lucky.

I agree about going on location. It's always better but sometimes those places don't exist or would be an absolute nightmare to reach.

You're very welcome.

it's designed to be portable, for use in the field. The support for the backdrop breaks down into a small duffel, the light stands fold up, etc. It's a four light setup that only takes a few minutes to put up and put away.

Yeah, understood. Of course, my dad would be like "you have a green screen, why do you need to go to ___________?"..
