In some ways, I find it a lot more nerve racking to come out now, after having been out so many years. I'm like, "I already did my coming out-- I have to do more of it?" And a lot of it is, that I'm just so much more involved in various parts of my life that I find more interesting than what makes my dick go up and down or releases happy chemicals in my brain.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there - it's almost like I expect people to accept it and let me get on with my life in which there is quite a bit more going on than just 'being gay'. And when I get the feeling that someone won't accept this aspect of me, I get a little bit anxious!

After a co-worker found out I was gay, she then proceeded to ask me why I was wearing brown shoes with a black belt. The things you learn!
