In Which Howl Sets Off to Learn Something

I have a question for all of you out there, and I do hope to hear some responses.

During the event the other day, whats sorts of things changed for you? Would you rather have had the change you experienced than your reality, or was it something you never want to experience again?

I rather enjoy remaining bipedal, thank you.

Sounds rough, but sometimes having more legs can be useful.

...Apparently, I became the President of the United States of America.

I definitely don't want that again. I can't even imagine the stress that would cause. Can't even have any fun at all if you're supposed to be "President".

How could something like that happen? Change my life, change my voice? It's not like... it just made me think that was right, it's like that's how it really was. Like it changed me so completely...

I know for a fact it changed me physically, somehow. I've never been able to do a convincing American accent. Max laughs every time I try.

I think we were all reflecting possible alternate universes. The universe is full of worlds only slightly different than our own.

I would never want to stay that way. I enjoy being how I am.

As do I, but a change isn't always as bad as it might be, especially if we don't remember anything else.

It's a story about a little mermaid girl, she falls in love with a prince who almost drowned at sea. She saves him and takes him to shore. Her love is so great she wants to go up on land to see him. The only way she can do this is if she talks to the sea witch. The sea witch tells her she must pay with her tongue. Mind, the little mermaid has a beautiful voice, and without her tongue she won't be able to sing or talk. She says fine and goes to her prince. There is a stipulation though, she only has so many days for him to fall in love with her before she turns into sea foam.

Then there's the Disney version which is a bit happier and not quite so gritty.
