Luckily here over-due fees are low. I went to the library all afraid, and it was only $40.00TT.
I carried it back cause it wasn't worth keeping. It was a posthumus Hemingway novel, that was 'completed' by someone else. Someone who needed a beating, obviously.

Thing is, if the really wanted a girl there are ways. Non-invasive ways even.

And yes! Get a job so you can get more books. You can never have enough books, no matter what certain members of my family may say.

It's like the adage about "if you have enough shelf space, you have too few books".
Sadly, I've taken to using shoe boxes for paper-backs (reuse+) and hard-covers wherever there be space.
