BANZAI!!

I'm the proud auntie of my third nephew! Yay me!

He's a robust 8 lbs, 7 onz  - a chubby little cuddly-kins. And I have the oddest urge to call him squishy, I think I've either finally succumbed to the pheromones or that I grew some kinda heart from when his brothers were born.

Babies are still generally icky-me-no-likey though, but my ( Read more... )

It's actually still surprising to me, how relatively comfortable I'm with him - I guess I really did adjust.

Ulqui looks muy bonito in your icon. Dayum...*wipes drool*

Why get a job for books? That's what libraries are for...unless the libraries are far away from you and you don't have a car...or if you're like my sister and gain absurd late fees...okay, maybe you have a point.

Dude...I once kept a library book for over a YEAR from the local library.

Luckily here over-due fees are low. I went to the library all afraid, and it was only $40.00TT.

I carried it back cause it wasn't worth keeping. It was a posthumus Hemingway novel, that was 'completed' by someone else. Someone who needed a beating, obviously.

Thing is, if the really wanted a girl there are ways. Non-invasive ways even.

Designer babies are cool with me, as long as it doesn't end up like "Gattaca".

Oh I feel same about the books <3 My dream is to own a book-cafe somewhere somehow =) Earning money by being around the books all day, how awesome is that *dreamy eyes*

YES.

Working in that environment is my only hope of not quitting/getting fired.

Congrats on the new nephew!

And yes! Get a job so you can get more books. You can never have enough books, no matter what certain members of my family may say.

*nods*

It's like the adage about "if you have enough shelf space, you have too few books".

Sadly, I've taken to using shoe boxes for paper-backs (reuse+) and hard-covers wherever there be space.
