Sometimes, like now, it really gets me down that I should be finishing my second year of college right now, and so far I have yet to complete one at all. All my former friends and classmates are taking their exams, getting ready to leave and will soon be juniors, on the downward slope of their college careers, when mine has yet to actually begin

Love you Megan, it's going to be ok. Life is still beautiful and remember that you and your life are not defined by school. Your life didn't just end these past two years. You had amazing experiences and learned a lot about yourself and realized there's still a lot left to learn. Just because you're not in school, it does NOT mean that you weren't doing anything. As for making life great now...you have no idea what this summer has in store for you. I am prepared to do idiotic, sporadic, and very memorable and meaningful things this summer with you and hopefully, it'll be the spring board for the next few years which I know are going to be amazing for you :-)
