Akiko did not participate in the fights she arrived late. It was harder for her to leave her grandfather and brother during Christmas and had waited for them to fall asleep before leaving. She had only came out as support for her Red Tail sisters that were competing, mainly Yuka and Reiko. Both were unfortunately eliminated and Nene decided it was enough.

"Lets blow this place." she said stomping her cigarette out on the ground and beginning to leave. Akiko and the others followed.

Yuka jumped up in excitement at the compliment. "You too bird girl of flame." Reiko starred at Yuka adjusting her face mask but not correcting her. Akiko was embarrassed her sisters could come off as idiots sometimes.

"I think she meant to call you a phoenix because of your red hair." she corrected Yuka. "You and your guys were great too."

Ryoko had to repeat Yuka's sentence to herself slowly, trying to decipher it, until Akiko spoke up. She chuckled, shaking her head. "Wouldn't be the first time I've been called that," she said, twirling a strand of hair with her fingers. "It's refreshing having another group of young girls here," she looked over at the crowd of overwhelmingly males. "We get outnumbered pretty easily here."

"Akagawa Ryoko. We call ourselves Shinsengumi Angels. Rōnin whose paths have crossed."
