1. They might be allowing me to keep my 8-4 shift when I move to the Finance team. Working 9-5 would kill me because I'd get home around six thirty and the boys go to bed at seven thirty and that's not why I go to work, I'd rather do something shit and see more of them. Yeah it turns out my boss has kids too, and he prefers to to work 10-6 so he can take the kids to school, so it really fits in well that I work 8-4 so someone is always manning the phones.

Yeah, I just had to give her time. After 24 hours, she's all on board the 'YAY THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR YOU' train. I think she's just terrible at keeping any feelings at all whatsoever inside. We all think all sorts of stuff that we're not proud of, she's just no good at not saying things.
